1. Acceptance and Amendments of Terms

By engaging United Carship LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for auto transport services, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and United Carship LLC.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Services

United Carship LLC provides vehicle transportation services throughout the United States. We connect customers with auto transport carriers to facilitate the shipping of vehicles from one location to another. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • 24/7 premium customer support
  • White glove service
  • Express delivery services
  • Open and enclosed transport options
  • Door-to-door pickup and delivery

3. Service Broker Relationship

United Carship LLC acts as a broker to arrange for the transportation of vehicles by licensed and insured auto carriers. We are not a carrier and do not transport vehicles directly. We connect customers with professional auto transport carriers who will perform the actual transportation services.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided through our website or by our representatives are estimates based on the information provided at the time of the quote. Actual pricing may vary based on factors including but not limited to:

  • Additional services requested
  • Expedited or specialized service requirements
  • Seasonal factors and current market conditions
  • Pickup and delivery locations
  • Distance and route
  • Vehicle size, weight, and modifications

All quotes are valid for up to 7 days, subject to market conditions. Prices are not guaranteed until confirmed with a deposit.

5. Booking and Payment

To book our services, you must:

  • Pay the remaining balance as specified in your order details
  • Pay a deposit to secure your booking
  • Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your vehicle

Payment methods accepted include credit cards, debit cards, and electronic fund transfers. The balance payment is typically due upon delivery of the vehicle, paid directly to the carrier, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

6. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

Before transport, you must:

  • Ensure your vehicle is clean enough for a proper inspection
  • Document any existing damage prior to transport
  • Disable alarms and toll tags
  • Leave only 1/4 tank of fuel in the vehicle
  • Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle (personal items are not covered by carrier insurance)
  • Ensure your vehicle is in working condition with functioning brakes

At pickup and delivery, you or your designated representative must be present to inspect the vehicle with the carrier and sign the Bill of Lading, which documents the vehicle's condition before and after transport.

7. Scheduling and Delivery

United Carship LLC provides estimated pickup and delivery dates based on carrier availability and standard transit times. These dates are estimates and not guarantees. Actual pickup and delivery dates may vary due to:

  • Other unforeseen circumstances
  • Mechanical issues
  • Road closures
  • Traffic conditions
  • Weather conditions

We will make every effort to keep you informed of any changes to the estimated schedule. United Carship LLC is not responsible for any consequential damages resulting from delays in pickup or delivery.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation policies are as follows:

  • Cancellations made after the carrier has arrived for pickup may result in additional fees.
  • Cancellations made after a carrier has been assigned but before the scheduled pickup date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made before a carrier has been assigned may be eligible for a partial refund of your deposit, less a service fee.

Specific refund amounts and timeframes will be detailed in your service agreement.

9. Insurance and Liability

All carriers in our network are required to maintain cargo insurance as required by federal law. This insurance covers damage to your vehicle that occurs during transit, subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier's insurance policy.

To file a claim:

  • United Carship will assist in facilitating the claims process with the carrier
  • You must notify United Carship of any damage within 24 hours of delivery
  • Claims not noted on the Bill of Lading may be denied
  • Any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery

Insurance does not cover:

  • Damage from "acts of God" (natural disasters, etc.)
  • Mechanical or electrical malfunctions not related to transport
  • Personal items left in the vehicle
  • Pre-existing damage
