By engaging United Car Ship LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for auto transport services, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and United Car Ship LLC.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

- Door-to-door pickup and delivery
- Open and enclosed transport
- Expedited shipping when capacity allows
- Dealer and fleet coordination
3. Our Role in Transportation
United Car Ship LLC coordinates the arrangement of transportation for vehicles by licensed and insured auto carriers. We are not a carrier and do not transport vehicles directly. We connect customers with professional auto transport carriers who will perform the actual transportation services.
4. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided through our website or by our representatives are estimates based on the information provided at the time of the quote. Actual pricing may vary based on factors including but not limited to:
- Vehicle size, weight, and modifications
- Distance and route
- Pickup and delivery locations
- Seasonal factors and current market conditions
- Expedited or specialized service requirements
- Additional services requested
All quotes provided are estimates valid for up to 7 days and are subject to current market conditions. Pricing is not guaranteed until confirmed. Final rates may vary from the initial estimate based on availability and market fluctuations.
5. Booking and Payment
To book our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your vehicle
- Pay a small deposit to secure your booking.
- Pay the remaining balance as specified in your order details
Payment methods accepted include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, debit cards, and electronic fund transfers. This website does not collect card numbers. If you book, a deposit may be charged later in USD on our licensed payment processor's secure hosted pay page. All prices and card charges are in United States Dollars (USD). The remaining balance is typically due upon delivery of the vehicle, paid directly to the carrier, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
6. Vehicle Condition and Inspection
Before transport, you must:
- Ensure your vehicle is in working condition with functioning brakes
- Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle (personal items are not covered by carrier insurance)
- Leave only 1/4 tank of fuel in the vehicle
- Disable alarms and toll tags
- Document any existing damage prior to transport
- Ensure your vehicle is clean enough for a proper inspection
At pickup and delivery, you or your designated representative must be present to inspect the vehicle with the carrier and sign the Bill of Lading, which documents the vehicle's condition before and after transport.
7. Scheduling and Delivery
United Car Ship LLC provides estimated pickup and delivery dates based on carrier availability and standard transit times. These dates are estimates and not guarantees. Actual pickup and delivery dates may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Traffic conditions
- Road closures
- Mechanical issues
- Other unforeseen circumstances
We will make every effort to keep you informed of any changes to the estimated schedule. United Car Ship LLC is not responsible for any consequential damages resulting from delays in pickup or delivery.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation policies are as follows:
- If we have not dispatched a carrier, your deposit is fully refunded.
- If a carrier has been dispatched, the deposit is kept. There is no extra cancellation fee.
- If a carrier arrives and the vehicle is not ready, a $75 reschedule fee may apply.
How to request a refund, timing, and method are in our Refund & Return Policy.
9. Insurance and Liability
All carriers in our network are required to maintain cargo insurance as required by federal law. This insurance covers damage to your vehicle that occurs during transit, subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier's insurance policy.
To file a claim:
- Any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery
- Claims not noted on the Bill of Lading may be denied
- You must notify United Carship of any damage within 24 hours of delivery
- United Carship will assist in facilitating the claims process with the carrier
Insurance does not cover:
